Every year at our annual supper, a collection is made after the interval for deserving and just causes. The amount raised and for whom is detailed below. Thanks to all who donated, it is much appeciated by the club, committee and those who recieve the funds.
Since the year 2000, GBC has raised and donated a total of £11,725.91 to various deserving charities.
In 2018 the entire takings from the supper was donated to the Camphill Blair drummond. The was in honour of our esteemed past member, Jamie Dawson who sadly passed away, all to soon, and was called to a higher service. It was at his request that the proceeds, which totalled £1,500.00 be donated to the trust and President Forbes Gould and Past President Jim Dawson braved the weather to make the presentation.
