Library of Innerpeffray

Sccotland’s oldest lending library, The lending Library of Innerpeffray has extended its collection of national works thanks to a gift that brings Burns back home. Full details can be seen in the Education section, but 3 first editions of Burns from Edinburgh (1787), London (1787) and Philadelphia (1788) are now housed there along with “wilt thou be my dearie” an original manuscript, written in the poets own hand.

Based just outside of Crieff in Perthshire, it is well worth a visit.
